There are so many cowboy boots in sight on the cover you could be forgiven for thinking that this was just those of those dreadful Teledisc promotional ads on TV. But fear not, for looking deeper into this collection you'll find a fine array of tunes all carrying the familiar country sound yet bathed in Christian lyrics. Ricky Scaggs, one of Stateside's best known talents these days sets things in motion with an upbeat "Old Kind Of Love". For me the highlights came with Barbara Fairchild and Milton Carroll's "It Takes Three" and a couple of tracks from Heirloom (the trio with whom Fairchild sings) who I'd never heard of before but who give out a superb "That's What Love Is For". And it is a sheer delight to her Glen Campbell back on top form with the classic "The Saviour I Sing Of Today". All the tracks here have been culled from previous albums but if you don't have them or want a different style of Christian music, investigate this

Never been a true country fan, but this album has always
been really special for me. The lyrics really give more of a
life application to the Christian listener. Very
encouraging! And my heart melts in praise & joy as I hear
Glen Campbell sing- 'The Saviour I sing of today"
Blessings
