Featuring the likes of Rebecca St James and ZOEgirl, 'Every Young Woman's Battle' is a compilation of songs directed at teenage girls, encouraging them to resist the temptations of society. All the songs feature empowering, uplifting lyrics which put across a concept to young women that is largely alien in today's society. The tracks range from the simple melodies of Jaci Velasquez' "I Promise" to that pop rock classic about sexual purity, Superchic[k]'s "Barlow Girls". Several songs here could easily pass for a teen movie soundtrack. Although sometimes slightly predictable the album features a good range of songs and will no doubt connect with its target audience.
