This is not just an album for those of you who buy satin covered padded cards for your loved one. As a passionately in love wife myself, it doesn't exactly inspire me to throw myself at my man's feet in undying love but amazingly, I didn't cringe once. There's an impressive array of quality songs produced to an excellent standard; slick, polished and easy to listen to. At first, I was afraid it would strike the same emotional chord as a Lassie film (without the tears) but I was instantly reassured by glimpsing some respected names, Chris Eaton and Margaret Becker, two of my faves. To be honest, I think it will have most appeal with the Abba generation, I suggest you give it to your parents (the young in heart type) but it might be a bit embarrassing watching them smooch the night away!
