This release is one of a new series of videos from Word, coming under the banner Music 2C, providing 30 minutes of CCM in various styles in an MTV format. This video comprises middle of the road mediocre melodies suitable only for middle aged Americans. The video did have its better pieces: Sheila Walsh's "The Calling Of Love" and Wayne Watson's "Friend Of A Wounded Heart" being the most notable. The video kicked off with the Imperials "Just Want To Know", taken from their 20th Anniversary concert video. Down points include an apparently bored Randy Stonehill with "Faithful" and Phil Dri^coll's entry for the American Gurning Championships with "The Trumpet Shall Sound". The use of adverts in between every two songs was a bad move. Impressive as it may be that Wayne Watson has had 20 top ten hits, 10 number one singles and three Dove awards, the middle of a compilation video is not the place to tell people. There was little inspirational about the video. The only thing it inspired was the desire to switch it off. This video is unlikely to appeal to the general punter, but concert promoters and the like may find a use.
