This was a Christmas sales blockbuster in 1990 and is now back in the CD racks. A veritable cavalcade of names: Michael W Smith, Al Green, David Meece, Bryan Duncan, Amy Grant/Sandi Patti (duetting together), First Call, Mylon LeFevre, Kim Hill/Phil Keaggy (another duet), Russ Taff and Roberta Flack (while mentioning this sublime vocalist, are we to infer from her inclusion on this Word album that Roberta's now a believer?). The production, up to the classic standards of 'Our Hymns', is impeccable and it deserves its success.
