This free download compilation from Indie Vision Music is very much like the British weather. There is plenty of it, and coming in at 61 tracks it also supplies a huge variety of styles from within the punk rock genre. Not only are the best bands from America represented, but the likes of Metanoia with their Polish roots and England's Malokai both make an appearance. Some of the better known names featured include the Altar Billies who produce a stripped down revision of the Altar Boys' classic "You Found Me". Dogwood make an appearance with "Clemency" and False Idle open with "Where Do We Go". There are also newer bands that contribute a track each. 180 Out supply a little rockabilly, The Hoax, some hardcore and The Lonely Revolts bring an old school feel to the table. Sound quality across the tracks varies considerably, but the majority of the material included here is very strong. To listen to the whole download in one sitting is near on impossible due to the quantity supplied. As a sampler however, this is an excellent place to start investigating some new and exciting bands from the likes of Thumper Punk, Blood & Ink and Attack Records at low cost.
