What I find bizarre with this compilation is that while the compiler Richard D Serpa Jr has obviously thoughtfully chosen some nice songs in "Love Is Strong", "From This Moment On", "Your Love Amazes Me" to name but three of the 10 tracks, they definitely fall into an easy listening experience and so middle of the road that I find they are not overtly Christian, nor in fact very country! At its best this is pleasant background music. Many of the recordings are well over 10 years old and I think many of today's listeners would struggle to connect most of the artists here with music of any great significance. In fact the only ones I had heard of were Shania Twain featured on a duet, Paul Overstreet, Bebo Norman (not a country artist) and Allen Shamblin, again featured on a duet. To add to the problems, the running order on the CD does not match up with the sleeve insert, making the whole thing even more difficult to follow. A compilation you had best ignore.
