I had a bad feeling the moment I saw the cover and it got progressively worse as I proceeded to read the sleeve notes and listen to the album. Basically, what we have here is a selection of tracks culled from some not-very-successful albums released on the Fixit label between 1990 and 1993, plus two from a Christmas compilation called 'The Gift Of Love' (which also featured some not-very-successful Fixit acts). You can usually see the point of a compilation album - even if it's only to cash in on a fad - but not this one. To release this, especially now that some of the featured acts have gone on to greater things, is like that habit The Word has of digging up embarrassing film clips from some poor celebrity's past. As for the claim that the songs were all hits - don't believe the hype.
