A two album set to bring the number of albums in this series up to six. Lots of classy CCM nearly all of it from the States. Volume 5 offers cuts from recent albums by Bryan Duncan, Angela & Veronica, Brent Bourgeois, Lisa Bevill, Ashley Cleveland and a heap more (each album offers 16 tracks) while Volume 6 has songs from John Schlitt, Margaret Becker, White Heart, Christine Dente and Steve Taylor. Once again we say the music is some of the classiest pop and soft rock that Nashville can turn out; once again we point out that obscurities (Germany's Laila Dahl and Ararat - Volume 5, and America's Paul Janz - Volume 6) stand up well against their illustrious album mates; and once again we offer a feeble complaint about compiling CCM tracks in packages which are tantamount 'music to snog by' and which bear no regard to the myriad of lyrical themes touched on in the songs.
