With 43 female vocalists, many well known CCM stars, others not so well known but equally as good, this project had great potential. The album is described as "Songs of friendship, joy and encouragement for women." A number of the songs are very good and give plenty of opportunity for some real vocal acrobatics. "Show Me No Mercy", a duet with Margaret Bell and Donna McElroy, is wonderful and quite catchy (you will soon be singing along). "Somebody Pray" features the trio of Margaret Becker, Babbie Mason and Danniebelle Hall, a wonderful combination which makes for a very effective song. The only solo performance on the album is by Christine Dente singing "Will You Be Here?" (written by Michael Gleason), though one of the better tracks on the album is not up to the Out Of The Grey standard. The main failing of this album is the lyrics on some of the songs which could best be described as corny. Other songs like "The Strongest Hearts" fail to give the vocalists (Kathy Troccoli and Trace Balin) the opportunity to show their real potential. It is well produced by Cheryl Rogers, but a better choice of material would have made a great improvement.
