"This superb compilation of some well known songs will enable the listener to express his heartfelt gratitude for the love of God," so says the blurb on the CD cover. And that's what it is, a selection of top class songs with loving God as a theme. The phrase "well known songs" is certainly true. If you're a fan of worship then you'll probably have a lot of this already as Kingsway have repackaged songs from very popular albums by Sue Rinaldi, Bryn Haworth, Noel Richards, Dave Fellingham, etc. Thrill again to the beautiful David Grant rendition of "Wonderful Love" from 'A People Prepared'. La la la along and revisit Matt Redman's 'Wake Up My Soul' album as he sings again "I've Got A Love Song In My Heart". If you've just got saved or you've been kidnapped by aliens and living on the planet Tharg for a while, this is a very good introduction to some of the best worship albums of the last few years. At budget price it gives you the opportunity to suck and see whether you want to shell out your hard earned on the full albums by these artists.
