Featuring Prophet, JBcrossFX and Joshua Doyle, this home produced cassette is announced as the debut by all concerned, most of whom are in their teens. The supremo is quite clearly Mr Doyle, 16 years old, who has written and arranged the vast majority of the music. In the absence of any such information, we must assume either a denominational or geographical link between the contributors. The variety of styles makes for a rather strange collection, with a rock track followed by a short blast of techno dance and then into a melodic rock song. It's not too unkind, I hope, to suggest that the whole sound is a little immature - it's all somewhat hurried and slightly obvious. But Joshua should certainly be encouraged and equipped by those around him, for he is an undoubted talent who may well emerge as a musician of some significance once he has a few years of hard gigging to his name.
