Hands up who went to every single UK Christian conference 10 years ago and bought all the albums? No? Me neither, although I did go to Stoneleigh Bible Week and I still play those albums, which is why I recognise many of the tracks on this compilation. This 100 track set is a compilation of the live worship recorded at many of the Christian conferences around 1996 - 2004. Considering the variety of conferences and denominational streams out there, even if you think you know worship music well, there are lots of tracks here that you won't know and that is the point. If you are a worship leader, grab this and discover some new songs that other churches have been playing for a few years, but not so long ago that they make Charles Wesley look young. Many of the tracks are the original versions, such as Stuart Townend leading at Stoneleigh with Lou Fellingham, although there are many cover versions too. The quality of performance is generally high and I enjoyed being reminded of the brilliant Kate Simmonds. Sadly, although the track listing tells of the song title and the songwriter, there is no indication of who is singing nor at which conference/venue.
