With the minimum of fuss the Christafari guys behind the pioneering Lion Of Zion label have released some smouldering reggae gospel independents like ‘Reggae Redemption’ and ‘Dancehall Baptism’. Now they set out to “take praise and worship to a whole new level” and with a set of artists, some well known – Sherwin Gardner and Christafari themselves (mysteriously recording under the moniker of Youth Exodus) – and some obscure – Todah, Melchizadek Order and Tiko & Gitta – the effect is often stunning. Ragga, dancehall and roots reggae rhythms authentically produced and another magnificent compilation of joyful music.
