Taking the Top 30 songs as indicated in the CCLi list will kind of give you Britain's 30 most popular worship songs. I say 'kind of' because such a list will only tell you the COPYRIGHT songs and will, of course, ignore all the dozens of public domain hymns used in worship in the British church every week. But let's let that pass. If you popped into most evangelical church services next Sunday you'd hear at least one of the songs featured here being sung at some point. From the mid-20th century stalwarts "How Great Thou Art" and "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" through the perennial favourites of the 1970s and 1980s such as "Majesty", "As The Deer" and "Shine, Jesus, Shine", to the classic songs of the new millennium like "How Great Is Our God" and "In Christ Alone", there's something for pretty well everyone here in this compilation. Although there are no artist credits on the CD sleeve, some of the tracks are clearly by the original artists, some are live and others studio recordings. It's all well-produced and is a good selection of songs, great to listen to and useful in all kinds of situations. The only question is: why the need for yet another compilation of tracks that are already so widely available on other worship albums?

Product Description
Think ‘worship anthems’ and it won’t be long before you come up with a whole bunch of names of those who are part of the Kingsway family: Tim Hughes, Stuart Townend, Graham Kendrick. And if you’re thinking songs, ‘Blessed Be Your Name’, ‘How Great Is Our God’ or ‘Shout To The Lord’ will soon be on auto-play in your subconscious.
And all of the above can be found on this new album from Kingsway.
The UK’s Top 30 Worship Songs might not have the most creative title on the racks, but it doesn’t need any gimmicks to help it make sense. Packed to the rafters with the thirty songs sung most frequently in churches this double cd contains the building blocks with which the church’s worship is being strengthened, bit by bit.
