Emblazoned on its cover is the bold subtitle 'The Biggest Gospel Songs Of The '90s' and, whilst this claim is a subjective one, there is no doubting that this compilation boasts some of gospel music's biggest stars of not only that decade but of all time. For instance, the predominantly live proceedings kick off in suitably high octane fashion courtesy of Fred Hammond's Radical For Christ on "Glory To Glory To Glory" before other big names such as Kirk Franklin ("Why We Sing"), CeCe Winans ("His Strength Is Perfect") and Yolanda Adams ("The Battle Is The Lord's") each take their turn. Refreshingly, arguably lesser known acts also get a chance to shine with the inclusion of Hezekiah Walker's fusion of funk and old time church "Clean Inside" and Daryl Coley's virtuoso vocal performance on the slow burning "When Sunday Comes". Whilst all these tracks have been available on individual albums previously, enough time has passed to make this release a worthwhile addition to any gospel music fan's collection.
