If you are a regular browser through the CD racks at your local Christian bookshop you'll probably be familiar with the annual 'WOW' compilations. The point of this latest compilation is not simply to present the best CCM of just one year, but the whole of the '90s. I have to be honest here and say that i'm not a great lover of compilations for the simple reason that yo invariably end up with a load tracks that are of no interest and which you end up programming out when you put on the CD. The good news about this CD is that there is very little to programme out as the track listing runs like a veritable who's who of CCM (DC Talk, Newsboys, Jars Of Clay, Carmen and Amy Grant to name a few). What's more this is a double album for the price of a single album so you get almost two and a half hours of top notch CCM for £15. Ultimately the selection of such well known artists is such I suspect you ill have a good number of these tracks already if you have even a modest selection of decent CD's. That said, if you are new to CCm and want a good general sampler to let you know what's around then I can't remember hearing one as good as this for quite a few years.
