Picking choice tracks from existing kids' albums released by Elevation or Vineyard Music, this double-CD compilation comprises perhaps the highest quality album of its type that I've ever come across. Extending Elevation's 'Worship Anthems' series, the substantial 31 songs featured are selected from recent albums that themselves received generally high acclaim - such as New Wine's 'God Is Great'; Hillsong's 'Kids Wanna Praise'; ICC's 'Kerpow' recording, and 'God's Love Is Unstoppable' from Simon Parry. Featuring songs composed by the likes of Parry, Gareth Matthews, Doug Horley, Becky & Nick Drake and Damian Herbert, there's terrific variety to this sizeable batch of tunes, and the outcome is a collection of fresh, vibrant, non-cheesy, infectious songs that are well-performed and full of pertinent and easily-understandable biblical truths. The only down-side is that the pages of the lyric-booklet have become mixed up in the printing process, making it extremely difficult to follow the song order, which, however, is thankfully correctly stated on the back cover. In all other respects, this is an outstanding album.
