A conversation at a coffee shop spawned an idea, the idea became a vision and that vision became the worship event featured here at the world's best known recording studio, London's Abbey Road. This CD/DVD package gives you the highlights of the music on the CD while the DVD offers plenty of images of live worship plus a host of background stuff behind the project. The worship leaders selected to take part in this event (which was in aid of the Ray Of Hope project operating in Brazil) bring a wide variety of styles to the party, from the smooth gospel worship of America's Smokie Norful and Britain's veteran worship man Mark Beswick, through the edgier urban music of R&B star Jocelyn Brown and onto the current pop sounds of Tim Hughes and Lou Fellingham and with Andy Bromley and Kelly Minter adding a rockier element. 14 tracks and 70 minutes of music are on offer and with such a high quality line up of singers, musicians and backing vocalists the musical quality remains high. The background material of the DVD is interesting without being surprising while the nature of the editing means there is an absence of natural flow and development during an end-to-end listen while watching the DVD it appears that only Tim Hughes and Jocelyn Brown moved past performing to engage in worship with the gathered crowd. So although musically this is good stuff it appears slightly manufactured.

Product Description
It’s not often that worship and Abbey Road Studios are linked together, but this was a special evening of worship and celebration where the studio hosted worship leaders Stuart Townend, Tim Hughes, Jocelyn Brown, Smokie Norful, Lou Fellingham, Geraldine Latty, Andy Bromley, Mark Beswick and Kelly Minter. On this night, only one King was glorified as Mission & Worship walked hand in hand.
The CD and DVD features songs such as How Deep The Father's Love, Happy Day, Here I Am To Worship and Yesterday, Today and Forever all recorded live and now united in a special digipack.
