A number of albums focussing on the theme of healing have appeared in recent months - one from Integrity even having remarkably similar cover art to this one. This shorter 10-song CD picks out a number of existing songs from diverse Christian artists' recordings, all dealing in one sense or another with God's healing power and love. Most tracks date to sometime within the past decade - though Graham Kendrick's two both stem from the early/mid 1990s (yet gems they both are). Most are gentle in format, though the tempo picks up somewhat with Lex Buckley's "Through The Valley". Meanwhile, Godfrey Birtill's raw, live, anthemic contribution seems a bit incongruous on this otherwise inspirational disc. Marc James' "Blessed Rain" is my own personal favourite. Overall, a pleasant, though in truth, unexceptional compilation.
