This is a 10-song compilation of contemporary worship songs chosen because of their overt lyrics of praise and thanksgiving. Most are sung by the original artists and most are also well-known. The downside is that not only are any new but neither are they recent; the newest among them dating to 2005. So we've got Tim Hughes and "Beautiful One", Gareth Robinson and "Clap Your Hands", Matt Redman (along with the London Gospel Community Choir) singing his "Blessed Be Your Name". All very fine songs, though perhaps even more interesting, largely because of their unfamiliarity, are the covers - notably Neil Wilson's take of "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever", and the Encounter Worship Band's rendition of "Redman's "Thank You For the Blood". But ultimately there's nothing to make this 37-minute come-together particularly stand out.
