In the world of praise and worship song selectors the highest aptitude has surely been demonstrated by soundhouse (compilers) and Stephen Doherty (executive producer) in pulling together 'Worship's Biggest Anthems'. This squad of 30 tracks makes up an extremely well balanced outfit that performs admirably as a unit and wows with every play. There is a great blend of youth and experience with newer church hits like "My Soul Sings" (Delirious?) and "Mighty To Save" (Reuben Morgan and Ben Fielding) alongside some true congregational stalwarts such as "Faithful One" (Brian Doerksen) and "Agnus Dei" (Michael W Smith). The rest of the field are almost all instantly recognisable to anyone who has so much as set foot in a meeting of Christian worship in the UK in the last 20 years. "Happy Day" (Tim Hughes and Ben Cantelon), "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" (Martin Smith) and "You Never Let Go" (Matt and Beth Redman) make up some of the home-grown talent while "Shout To The Lord" (Darlene Zschech) and "Above All" (Lenny LeBlanc and Paul Baloche) feature from the international contingent. It is impossible to estimate how many times each of the 30 songs here have been used to worship God up and down the country though many, of course, are available on numerous other compilations.
