Reviewed by Tony Cummings
From the moment this privately financed cassette arrived in the office one expected something special. For a start the inlay displayed good graphic design and great photography. And the quality didn't stop there. A slickly produced set of self-composed praise orientated songs sung by a singer with a pleasing rich texture and a few jazz tinges to her voice. Vasantha Narayamswami is an Anglo Indian who broke from her family's high caste Hindu traditions to find a new life in Christ is also, on the strength of this tape at least, a major new Christian talent.

I met Vasatha at Shackleford, (near Charterhouse school)
back in 1992 - She was kind to give me a copy of her cassette - which I still own & prize -
I was just curious if she had continued with her music
since then - we had kept in touch briefly by mail -
I hope she's well -
Note much info on line -
Thanks - Budd
