Veggie Tales new DVD proves to be an 'eggstravaganza' for the kids. 'An Easter Carol', the title is a big clue to the storyline being loosely based on Charles Dickens' classic. Old man Nezzer has totally the wrong idea about how to make Easter bigger than ever and the little church on his land is doomed to destruction if Nezzer's ambitions are fulfilled. Mechanical chickens churning out plastic eggs play their part in explaining the real meaning of the Easter hope shared by Christians worldwide. Rebecca St James takes time out to voice a music box angel named Hope. This is a bumper bundle to keep kids involved and out of parents hair with bonus features galore, animated shorts supplement the main feature. Lessons how to draw Mechanical chickens, Veggie Karaoke and interactive storybooks are just some features on a DVD, that I think escapes the cheesy stuff so often produced for the young. Veggie Tales were always warmly received by my daughters when they were little and children, I find, are the sternest test for any product aimed at them. So if American accents and silly songs drive you crazy, remember it's for the kids!

Product Description
Cavis and Millward (Bob & Larry) and Hope the Music Box Angel voiced by Grammy Award winning artist Rebecca St. James must convince Nezzer that Easter is about much more than candy and eggs. Inspired by Dickens' Christmas classic, this very special film explains why millions of Christians around the world celebrate Easter past, present and future.
