Victoria is a singer/songwriter from the southern side of London and here is her debut release of four songs, produced by well known worship man Noel Robinson. The slow jazzy numbers ("Time To Pray" and "2Dream") are those that suit her smooth vocal style best, though the latter has a rather kitsch reminder of Des'ree from the mid '90s. "Praise Party" is the closer, but unfortunately shows up the lack of budget with its programmed keyboards and rhythms lacking the soul and vibe that is needed to match the showcased vocal. But there's another point: Victoria's vocal has soul, but perhaps has not yet attained the agility, strength and charisma needed to carry off the up-tempo numbers. The songs themselves are endearing enough, though the repetition of "Turned Around" gets a bit wearing (the title words sung 10 times within 30 seconds before the first verse begins). Having noted that, this is still a reasonable debut.

Apart from listening to Victoria Adexa's Debut, I also had the opportunity of listening to her sing live at a fund raising event last month.
Victoria's music has been a great source of blessing and inspiration to my family and I. Her voice is truly a unique outstanding gift.
All the songs are unique with different messages- Time to pray and Dream are my favourite. My children love Praise Party.
