Aficionados of classic rock might be interested to note that this debut album by an Atlanta-based band was produced by John Lawry (once the keyboard player for Christian rock giants Petra). Melodic rock is a musical style in which it is really difficult to stand out and not become subject to the 'haven't I heard this somewhere before' syndrome. Viktor manage to do a good job of avoiding this trait, and with a wealth of experience represented in the band create a well produced and arranged collection of nine original songs. "Like A Child", with its crisp acoustic guitars, screaming solos and passionate vocals is definitely a standout, though "Who Am I" and "More Than Ever" come close. With some nice vocal harmonies and use of acoustic guitar and piano as lead instruments the album manages to keep the variety and interest going throughout and only occasional falls into the clichés of the genre.
