An offering in the 'Discover Vineyard...' sequence, 16 tracks (75 minutes) of songs unpicking themes associated with and thrown up by the resurrection of Jesus as saviour is what we have here, songs written and performed by the worship leaders and writers currently at the heart of the Vineyard movement. Typically for Vineyard, the material is full-on and completely unapologetic in its message, asking nothing other than to be heard. The style is predominantly electric guitar-driven with single lead vocal in for the first half and then more acoustic and softer for the second. Other sounds and effects are added to good effect but overall a greater variety of textures across the selection would have made the end-to-end listen a more interesting experience. Amongst a song list that is generally strong (but not as strong as 'Discover Vineyard Worship') there are a couple of gems, namely "Do You Know This Man?" by 1000 Generations and "O Death Where Is Your Sting" by Chris Lizotte and it is worth getting hold of this for these two tracks alone. Generally good, but there's not enough exceptional tracks to be a great compilation.
