After enjoying the first volume from the Vineyard Psalm series, I was pleased to see that there was a second volume. Sadly, it's a let down. I nearly dozed off. It was just too slow at times. I know that music for meditation is usually mellow but this was positively soporific. There were a few tracks that stood out - Noel Richards' "By Your Side" and the Craig Musseous track "Release My Soul". To be fair if one was looking for this to help them to meditate and to worship then 'Psalms Vol 2' could have a use. But if Vineyard decides to bring out a third volume please make it slightly less pedestrian.

Interestingly, of the four volumes, Psalms 2 is my favorite by far - I recommend people start the series with this one. To each his (or her) own. :)

Well, I would say that this album is the reason I begin to love Vineyard Muisc productions. The very first song of this album, You Are Here, is of a unique arrangment that never released in any other vineyard albums. As well as "By your side" which also has its unique style of worship.

The third albums in the series is good but isn't really as wonderful as this album, which I could cnsider the best.

People are just getting away from worshiping God.
I love the Volume 2 cd and as I get other people to worship, they love it too. A lot of people just want entertainment and forget to really worship God.
