The long awaited new album from Virtue reveals that the group are now operating as a trio of Kibble sisters and stretching into songs that make a direct ministry impact. It has a range of sounds, from nod-ya-head R&B, gospel and pop flavoured ballads. The opening three cuts are going to make you move. Lyrically, Virtue points to God in every one of their tunes and tackle a wide range of issues. My favourite is "You Just Be You" which answers popular culture's loud voices and never-ending messages about who we should be, how we should dress, et cetera. "He Is Able" is yet another smokin' track and whether Virtue are attacking the upbeat stuff or indulging in slower introspective ballads. this is quality R&B. 'Free' sees Virtue continue their R&B journey with a set that is full of powerful messages and excellent vocal performances that help the band maintain their position in the top flight of R&B gospel.

Free is hailed by many as the best release to date from this dynamic trio. Virtue’s sweet lyrical format holds well to tightly produced R&B grooves ranging from danceable tracks to worship urban style expressions. There is a true feeling throughout the album that these songs are written from fresh and real experience.
