A belated follow up to 2003's 'The Love Of Life', the Californian four-piece are on top form again with a mixture of moody mid-pacers and full throttle rockers such as the galloping "Free Ride". Some of the more thoughtful numbers reference bands such as Goo Goo Dolls and even Coldplay in places, but Watashi Wa are at their best when rocking out powerfully but melodically on cuts such as "The Game", "All That I Can't Keep" and "All Of Me" although what makes this album as good as it is is the sheer breadth of moods and textures achieved in such a short space of time.
