The Women Of Faith worship team tour the USA and with numerous speakers minister powerfully to America's female church goers. There is a great feel-good factor on this studio album of 10 songs of predominantly up-beat, catchy, join-in worship. Heavy on the bass line, these songs made me want to dance. There are several modern classics here, from Paul Baloche's "So Good" to Brooke Fraser's "Hosanna". I was struck by the inspirational quality of the lyrics: I guess Chad Cates' "Come As You Are" has a huge impact during the team's live performances. The song begins delicately, builds up well and ends intimately. "You Brought The Sunshine" (yes, the Clark Sisters/Out Of Eden oldie) has a different feel - a bright gospel sound of high-octane soul praise. The album ends on a calmer note with the evergreen hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", arranged with piano and cello.
