Supremely classy folk-rock from a new artist exuding genuine class and artistic merit. Several of his self-penned songs have already engraved themselves deeply in my mind. "Back On That Train" is neatly crafted, displaying the intensity and musical muscle displayed in Springsteen's best work. "Maybe Tomorrow" is another thought-provoker. "Weather must be changing/Screen door slams against the rock/Wind blows from the Church/And all of my sins have been bought." "Glory" is an organ-led, old fashioned gospel style song that hit the button just sweetly, with a great duet vocal from Julianne Banks. "On A Quiet Night" is reflective, subtle and poetic. Fine slice of quality music, definitely a name to watch out, or better still, listen out for.
