Australia's Y&F (Hillsong Young & Free) have, of course, been hugely successful in popularising the Hillsong brand among young worshippers and now this new single, nimbly executed in both live and studio versions, delivers an important message. "Best Friends" is an uplifting chunk of pop, reminding us that, in Christ, we can be happy being who we are rather than being unhappy trying to be who we think we are supposed to be. A salient reminder that Instagram (and other drugs) won't make us happy. As this powerful anthem goes, "All of my best friends are sick of pretending/We want the truth." Good for you.
