An album celebrating the Youth Alive ministry of worship and more riproaring 100 mile an hour rock 'n' roll praise and worship. Beginning with five Oz rockers before turning the heat down a little for the funky groove of " I Wanna Be With You" before mellowing into a bit of pop. Eventually this album turns into a medley as one song segues into another song and suddenly everybody in the house is saying "ho" on the title track! Someonesings a Chris Falson composition "Song From Heaven" and there are a couple of Hillsong classics "Jesus, Lover Of My Soul" and "Shout To The Lord" and suddenly this sounds like a million other worship albums of the past five years. The album even closes with the funky but scipturally unsound "Send It On Down" (the Holy Spirit isn't an "it"). A strange album, all youthy and Oz rock at the start which blands out into an MOR fest. Unsatisfying to everyone! I continue to have reservations about the stylistic virtues of importing this stuff into a British scene which is actually currently leading the world in creative worship. Wouldn't it be better to throw some money at those who are pioneering and innovating over here? I continue to dream!
