There's only so much that can be said about the seemingly endless series of Open Mic Karaoke albums (and by now CR has already said it). Four hits of (American) CCM radio performed in their original form by the original artists and then offered in remixed backing track form for would-be Christian music stars of the future. Those of you who know your US Christian music will know that the 'ZOEgirl' and 'Life' albums from which these tracks were taken are beautifully produced, lightly funky examples of Nashville teen pop. So if you know young girls yearning for the CCM bright lights, here's a place to start them.
