Chrissy would like to thank ...My Beautiful Saviour, Redeemer - Jesus Christ. That s how one third of this female trio starts her sleeve credits, and that tells you exactly where this incredible band is coming from. You II be finding 10 Cummings squares at the bottom of this piece and if you don't rush out and buy this CD immediately you're clearly locked into a narrow band of musical taste a long, long way from the bubbly effervescence of radio friendly girl pop. I wept all the way through it (Yeah, I know, Max Wall used to weep at my Musical Direction for different reasons) because, to hear these three gorgeous girls sing so passionately about Jesus and what he means to them is the best ministry an ageing rock n roller can receive. And receive it I did. Production is the best I've heard from Nashville and arrangements, imagination and quality are all consistent, powerful and very now. Everything from 130 bpm to slow, unusually treated ballads are produced by Joey P, Quinlan and the genius Tedd Tjornhom (aka Tedd T). Vocals range from breathy, sultry Abba-esque to disco puissance and I can see my own Renewal Christian Centre night club playing this over and over until the kids drop and the laser tracking burns out. How we all need more of this for a dying world.
