STYLE: Rock RATING OUR PRODUCT CODE: 15122- LABEL: Independent FORMAT: Cassette Album

The potential here is huge but I feel that this rush to get product out much too soon these days will only result in good bands of the future looking back at not so sensible decisions to release in the years ahead. This six track cassette, from these Antrim North Coast teens, is solid enough and suggests a tight working outfit with promising songwriting. However, I'm not sure that Robin's voice has what it takes. It leaves it all a little uninspired. It is almost too nice and has too little edge for the rumble and tumble of rock 'n' roll. The guitar loo is a tad too extravagant perhaps. the first song on side two however suggests a better road lo follow. The young, front cover looking and mischievous Jonathan Elliott brings to life a song filled with personality and attitude. If Lou Reed was 16 he'd sound this good. So though "You", "Different" and "You'll Always Be There" are competent, "Dreamland" is another world entirely.
