Quite charming in its own way. Sheila Blaire, who sings on "The Beginning", has something of Peggy Seeger about her while the rambling, rolling playing of "Shout At The Devil" with flute and hand percussion has a timeless quality. Sometimes the effect is less assured, the folk version of Bonar's "I Heard The Voice Of Jesus" needed a stronger vocal, though their versions of Taize and Keith Green work surprisingly well, as do the band's originals. Despite a few ragged passages, a folk gospel album exuding an earthy charm and no little spiritual insight.
