When the three members of dc Talk decided to pursue solo projects, Forefront issued an excellent compilation called 'Intermission' in 2000. Now this arrives. It's 'Intermission'-lite. Shrunk from 19 tracks to 16 and only gaining two tracks from 'Supernatural' that didn't appear on 'Intermission', you have to wonder whether its purpose goes beyond marketing. You might at least have hoped for the inclusion of some solo tracks. It is so unlike the recent hits package from Caedmon's Call, that hardly duplicated their earlier compilation. The music remains the hip-hop/rock meld adored by thousands of young Christians in the 1990s, so high marks for that. But points docked for the "art for art's sake, money for (you know what)" industry-rather-than-ministry whiff behind this release.
