Living at the cross section of punk, emo and rock, [dweeb] are one of the first bands to emerge from the Nexus Academy in Coventry to create truly credible music. Blessed with a wonderfully bizarre sense of humour and an impressively eclectic list of musical influences, these four manage to astonish with their various twists and turns. Although it has to be said that there are moments when "Crumpet & Cakes" sails dangerously close to Prog Rock! But I'll let that go because 'This is Not Our Shed' has knocked me out. From the throbbing rock of "Shine-o-matic" to the clipped economic silliness of "Fondue" and sheer joy of "Undefined", [dweeb] deliver. Add to this the closing "Needless Illness" with its insightful views of the human condition and the result is an exceptional debut

They are gr8. Saw them live at the big church day out, this is there best album, but they played none of it! Dissapointment! But meh, i talked to them and they said that nexus was awsome and if anyone has a band they should go there and sort some stuff out. Great album, listening to it now!
