Article Title: In Denial?

Comment: I think we push too hard to know everything about any artist. We rush to put them on a pedestal, then are even quicker to attack them if they falter even alittle. If they want to step out and make themselves an example of something - great. But we should also allow those who only want to produce their art and to have a private life to do so. I remember back just a short time Amy Grant was attacked and vilified for making a "non-christian" album and for leaving the "christian" music area. Instead of being held up as an example that we can be a Christian, hold true to our beliefs, and work in "the world." I actually sat through some Sundays listening tovarious speakers talk about her turning to Satan and taking her listeners onto the path to hell. As with any singer or writer she sings of what is on her heart and happening in her life. Does all of your thoughts, words, and actions glorify God? Is it always a reflection of how you feel about Jesus or something else? How do you feel about someone asking you these questions?
