Back when I was attending Trinity College (Class of '82) a Christian audiofile who worked at the Logos bookstore in Chicago said I must buy this album. I'm sure glad I did. It was very rare even at that time. (I bought Larry Norman's double album "Bootleg" there which he also recommend that I buy) There is some fine guitar work on Brainwashed by former lead guitarist for the James Gang and Pacific Gas & Electric, Glenn Schwartz. At that time I was like, "Cool! A Christian who can play awesome guitar!" There are also some pretty forward arrangements (ala E.L.O.) as this guitar rock band employs cello, violin, and cool female background vocals. I would love to remix the original tracks on modern equipment. Back then I got annoyed with the mellower tunes or the female vocalists singing the blues in their head voice but hey, they were making "a joyful nose unto the Lord." When one really experiences the forgiveness of Jesus it is easy to get sappy!
