Mike said, "Does it not scare you that Paul talks about the PLEASURES and DESIRES of the world and you just so happen to be PLEASURABLY listening to DESIRABLE music that just so happens to be identical in sound to what the world has produced?" So does this mean any music that is pleasurable to listen to, goes against God? So you would advocate no music at all in church? Or any music period, for that matter? I personally like a broad spectrum of music, including the old hymns. I am getting a bit fatigued of generalizing an entire musical genre, as if all the songs had the same validity.
