Why Do Christian Ministers Fail?

A very sad day indeed for believers world-wide who have been endlessly praying for Mike's healing. I guess the good news is that he isn't dying...the better news is that God's grace CAN and WILL redeem him. As far as judgement and condemnation goes...let's just remember how Jesus dealt with such things...who remembers that verse; "he who is without sin, cast the first stone." Let's just leave the judging up to God, eh? =) When I heard the news, I found myself asking why God still does great works through people like this, even though they're living a lie. For example, Mike G has travelled the world and seen hundreds, if not thousands, come to Christ through his preaching...in the same way, Todd Bentley has been the focal point of the latest "outpouring" yet all this has come out about him, too. I found my answer from God when He made me realise that God is God, and we are all frail, imperfect, and failing human beings. We should keep that in perspective and not put people on such high pedistals. For those who have come to Christ through Mike's preaching...you have to imagine that this news will be a great test to their faith...did they become Christians because God is so awesome...or did they do it because Mike convinced them to...? Obviously I'm hoping that the majority of them were touched by God's power rather than Mike's enthusiastic preaching style. At the end of it all...none of us are perfect, and just as we would want to know people are praying for us when we've been embarrassed; let's also pray for Mike, and emotional healing for his family and quick redemption.
