Comment:	I find it's when these things happen that we can discover what love is. Love is based on our decision not the actions of others. God loves us because of who he is, not what we do (my beautiful wife bestowed this revelation upon me). We just have to learn to be like him (a great reason to talk with Him). It's hard because we constantly risk being hurt or let down - but the rewards are so great. If things like this stop us loving we have to ask the question of ourselves - Did we really love them at all?
