Not bad, but a few comments. The protons will travel at a reported 99.9999991% of the speed of light in opposite directions. The net energy is approximately 2 times quark mass * .999999991 * C I believe. I am reminded of the story of the man who refused help offered by rescuers during a flood who then asked "God, why did you not save me?" and God replies "I sent two boats and a helicopter!" Today a number of scientists are warning of possible flaws with CERN's safety arguments[1][2][3] and German scientists Dr. Habil. Rainer Plaga presented CERN with feasible risk mitigation recommendations[1] including studying the results of collissions before each small increase in energy level. Unfortunately in CERN's apparent hubris they reject the safety recommendations and appear to be more concerned with meeting promised time schedules.
