The War: Science And The Church

Another good one, Paul. I guess part of the problem is that many aspects of science and religion are hard to reconcile with each other. As with the Necker Cube illusion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necker_cube), it's hard to hold both views in one's head at the same time, because there are many apparent incompatibilities. I guess that explains why so few people have read both The Bible and The God Delusion. The two "warring" paradigms exist within one's own mind, and—as with the Necker Cube—it's hard not to come down on one side or the other. Thanks for the thought-provoking article.
