All Saved Freak Band: Jesus Music Pioneers

Comment:
I was saved during the Jesus Movement in Lancaster, Pa. There were gentle bands (THE WAY, GENTLE FAITH, LOVE SONG, HONEYTREE) but heavier gutsy Christian music started coming about (PETRA, JOSHUA, RESURRECTION BAND, etc). Then I got a copy of My Poor Generation. All of the Christian rock minstered to me but especially My Poor Generation. Songs like "There is still hope in Jesus, Daughter of Zion, The Lord is my Shepherd" really spoke to me. When I moved to Tucson in 1976 this album came with me and I still love it, as does my wife. Thanks, ASFB, for helping me with my Christian walk, especially as a babe. God bless you in whatever you are doing for Him now. Guitarfish 8
