Da Vinci Code Film Review

Comment:
I thought the book made it quite clear that, whilst based on some facts, the story’s taken further into a work of fiction. The purpose of the facts at the front was to make clear the separation of fact from fiction. Ok, some of the facts are mistaken, but in my view it wouldn't affect my faith if it was. What this film has done is given the church a reputation for being highly judgemental and completely paranoid. This article isn't the worst for that by any means, but I'm sure that the church's reaction to this film has done far more to put people off Christianity than the film has itself.
