Comment:	I don't think Maggie Thatcher can be blamed for society's ills any more than any other single person! The 'rot' had set in long before, with great evils being done in the Victorian period for example (Charles Dickens' books show this clearly.) A succession of decisions in government and beyond have ripped at the heart of society, but it's man's sin and selfishness that lies at the root (along with the work of the evil one). There are so many factors that have contributed. That's what's so great about the church in action - it doesn't blame, it acts to bring positive change. Now that's what we really need!
